Book club meeting April 2015

Our March book, Song of Time by Ian Macleod certainly invoked a good discussion and most people had appreciated reading it.  

One of those book club books that we may not have chosen ourselves but glad we have now read.

April 16^th meeting:  

Middle Age: A Romance by Joyce Carol Oates

May 21^st meeting:  

The Buddha in the Attic by Julie Otsuka

June 18^th meeting:  Bel Canto by Ann Patchett 

July 16^th meeting:  A Classic of your choice – pre 1950

August we will have another ‘garden party’ – books to be decided.

Thanks to those who came to the meeting last week and to Sue M. for her amazing cakes!  

Sadly we said goodbye to Susan who’s moving away, but she’s coming back to visit us.
