Our objective is to promote friendship between women of all nationalities living in Gascony, SW France, to share our interests and to offer help when needed. The Club started in 2008, with twenty English ladies living in Gascony, using a foreign language and experiencing a new life. Since then, several different groups have been added and our membership has grown into the hundreds, with new ladies moving to the area and ladies who have lived here a while, who have discovered us, who want to make new acquaintances and discover new areas of interest. Today we have eleven nationalities, and our speaking/working language is English. The GLC meets on the second Tuesday of each month, excluding July and August.Every member receives an email each month, giving the name of the restaurant, the chosen, menu and a booking form. In 2014, we became a non-profit making Association, known as Ladies Lunch Club de l’Armagnac and was re-named in 2019 to Gascogne Ladies Club. Our annual subscription fee of 10 € is payable in January each year. Each member of the Club may participate in some or all of our various groups

LADIES LUNCH CLUB DE L’ARMAGNAC AGM and FEBRUARY LUNCH February 2015

Dear Ladies/Members,

We invite you to attend our 
2015 Annual General Meeting 

which will take place in the 
Salle de Fetes in Réans 
on Tuesday 10th February 2015 
at 11.00 am. 


Coffee will be offered on arrival, and the Meeting will start promptly at 11.15h.

The Meeting will be followed by our normal monthly Lunch at approximately 12.30h



Many of you will remember the excellent lunch we had in November, prepared by Michelle and Dagmar, and we are pleased to say they will be cooking for us once again.

17 euros (vins, cafe inclu)
Aperitif:  Kir a la peche
Verrine a la creme de potiron et carottes
Allumette au fromage
Entree:  Cigare croustillants aux poireaux
Salade aux graines d'alfalfa
Plat de resistance:  Daube de boeuf aux pruneaux et
carottes mijotee, pommes vapeur
Vegetariennes:  Papillote de poisson (agrementee de citron,
tomate, moutarde en grains, creme)
Dessert:  Lingot au chocolat (fait maison)
Sauce a l'orange

before 4th February.

To save time collecting lunch money can we please ask you to put it in an envelope with your name on it.  You can pay in cash or by cheque payable to Ladies Lunch Club de l'Armagnac.
Membership Renewal Forms will be available at the AGM.  Subscriptions of 10 euros can also be paid in cash or by cheque, but please put this into a separate envelope with your name on it and marked 'Subscription'.  
A Membership Renewal Form was sent out in January, but if you have a problem in printing this out, please e-mail Kate Notman at ladieslunchclubgascogne@gmail.com


For those who are unsure of how to get to Réans: (follow link for map)

It is approximately 5 mins from Eauze:
Take the D626 direction Cazauban. After 2 mins go left on the D30 direction Estang.

Réans is the first village you come to and the Salle de Fetes is on the right hand side, and has plenty of parking space.

From Nogaro take the D931 to Manciet. At the Citroen Garage turn left onto the D122. Go through Sauboires and you will arrive at cross roads in Réans. You will see the Salles de Fetes opposite on the right hand side.
The LLC Committee is looking  forward to seeing you at both the AGM and the lunch.
