- Walk 1 Aignan - 6kms (Estimated time < 2h). This walk takes us from the lake of Aignan through the pretty forest and out a ridge where we have fantastic views of Aignan and Sabazan.
- 2. Bouzon-Gellenave - 5 kms (Estimated time 1.5h - start time 14.00h) just up the road from Aignan off the D48 lies Gellenave. We follow a pretty forest trail below the church of St Go and up to the sweet Chapel of Bouzonnet. We then cut through vineyards with more splendid views of Sabazan and the Aignan ridge where we have just left!
- 3. Termes d'Armagnac - 5 kms (Estimated time 1.5h - start time 16.00h). Just up the road from Bouzon-Gellenave again on the D48 is Termes d'Armagnac. From the medieval Chateau/Tower, we follow a track across fields and into the woodlands and continue along another ridge with fabulous views before returning back to the village.
- These are 3 separate walks and we will have to drive between them but you do have a choice to do any or all of them. I would suggest that you do bring something to eat if you are planning on all 3! Aignan lake is a lovely location for our lunch. There is a café there but I'm not sure if it will be open out of season.
- Tueqsday 12th March (2nd Tuesday of the Month) Our lunch at La Falène Bleue, Lannepax from 12 onwards. This is now full and we have started a small waiting list. Contact Janet Jones

(Variant 1 does not use this route). We walk through the pretty Gers countryside with some fantastic views en route. Group Leader Denise Parker
- Thursday 21 March. Book club meeting with coffee, cake and a lot of discussion. The March book is « the tattooist of Auschwitz » by Heather Morris. Group Leader Jo Boucher
- Brief description : I tattooed a number on her arm. She tattooed her name on my heart. In 1942, L’ale Sokolov arrived in Auschwitz-Birkenau. He was given the job of tattooing the prisoners marked for survival - scratching numbers into his fellow victims' arms in indelible ink to create what would become one of The most potent symbols of the Holocaust.Waiting in line to be tattooed, terrified and shaking, was a young girl. For Lale - a dandy, a jack-the-lad,a bit of a chancer - it was love at first sight. And he was determined not only to survive himself, but to ensure this woman, Gita, did, too.So begins one of the most life-affirming, courageous, unforgettable and human storiesof the Holocaust: the love story of the tattooist of Auschwitz. If you are interested in joining the group or borrowing the book from one of the members please contact Jo.

- Due to the often late hours of film screenings, seniors cannot always attend the screenings offered at the Cinéma Armagnac d'Eauze. We have therefore set up a "Ciné Séniors" film cycle, with a preferential rate of €5 for those over 60 and free, if applicable, for those accompanying the EHPADS. We propose a monthly session, on the first Thursday afternoon, from October to April at 3pm at the Armagnac cinema in Eauze, open to all.The films are recent and last about 1h30. We have chosen a light theme to allow everyone to have a pleasant time, our objective is to offer a moment of conviviality and to strengthen social ties: to encourage the sharing, living together and opening up to the outside world of people who can be isolated.
- Thursday , March 7 - 3pm - "What have we done to God now?"
