We shall also be selling Poppies in aid of the 
Royal British Legion as this is our last chance before 11th November.

We hope you have all enjoyed the Summer break. Hopefully the good weather has not finished yet, and we can keep the bikinis out for a few more weeks!

Our September lunch takes place on

Tuesday 8th September 2015

at The Moulin de Pouy in Eauze. 

Once again we hope the weather will be fine and we can sit outside. The menu is as follows:

Salade compose avec tomate, oeuf, thon et haricots verts

(Tuna, tomato, egg & green bean salad)

Roti de porc dans l’échine avec son accompagnement de petits pois

(Roast spare rib of pork with peas)

Vegetarian option

Lasagnes a la provencale avec de la semoule en verrine.

Flan aux pruneaux

17€ inc. wine

Please bring a few snacks to accompany our tea or champagne and we will meet a bit later at 4.00 pm

Ladies Lunch Club de l'Armagnac

Search for participants for Christmas concerts 2015

Hello LLC members, 

 

I - Carole Clark - know it is only August but just to give you advance notice of our aims for our traditional Christmas concerts so that you can add them to you diary..

I am delighted to tell you Riene and Stephen will be helping us again this year and we shall commence rehearsals on 

Tuesday 1st September, at 2.30pm in the hall at Tasque as normal, and 

each Tuesday thereafter until the concerts, which are planned for 

11th December at Tasque and 

13th December in Plaisance. 

There has been a request for a further concert but I shall discuss that with everyone at an appropriate time.

Stephen, Riene and I have agreed upon a programme of traditional English and French songs, some old favourites and some new. I shall be putting together a song portfolio for everyone as I did last year and there will be a small cost for that for paper, ink etc.

I do hope that you are able to join with us again this year and if you know anyone who would like to come along too, that would be great.

Bonjour à tous

Je sais qu'il est seulement Aout, mais juste pour vous donner un préavis de nos objectifs pour nos concerts de Noël que vous pouvez les ajouter à vos agendas..

Je suis ravi de vous dire Riene et Stephen nous aiderez à nouveau cette année et nous commenceront les répétitions 

le mardi 1er Septembre, à 14h30 dans la salle des fetes à Tasque comme d'habitude, et 

chaque mardi par la suite jusqu'à ce que les concerts, qui sont prévues l

e 11 décembre à Tasque et 

13 Décembre à Plaisance. 

Il ya eu une demande pour une nouvelle concert, mais je vais en discuter avec tout le monde à un moment approprié.

Stephen, Riene et moi avons convenu d'un programme de chants traditionnels français et en anglais, quelques vieux favoris et quelques nouveaux. Je vais vous donner un portefeuille de chanson pour tout le monde comme je l'ai fait l'année dernière et il y aura un petit coût pour celui du papier, de l'encre, etc.

J'espère que vous êtes en mesure de se joindre à nous cette année encore, et si vous connaissez quelqu'un qui aimerait chanter qui vouloir venir aussi, ce serait génial.
