Art class with Lesley Gasking in Aire sur l'Adour

Dear Ladies,

 

Lesley Gasking is the teacher who is British, although she will conduct her classes in French, 

but can obviously speak English if necessary.

 

As well as drawing, the idea is to discover how we perceive the world through our drawings.  

The last half an hour of the lesson is spent discussing our work and a small talk about a painter. 

There is a journee Portes Ouvertes at L'Association Renc'art, 2 rue du chateau, Aire sur Adour on

 

Tuesday 16th September from 10am to 6pm. 

 

This first lesson is free and you will be able to chat with Lesley and see examples of artwork.

 

The material is provided at a cost of 10 euros per term.  

The class is 180 euros per year plus a 20 euro joining fee.  

The class runs throughout the school holidays.  Lessons are available 

Tuesday afternoon 4pm-6pm or 

Tuesday evening 7pm to 8.30pm.

ART & Craft March meeting in Reans

A meeting of the Lunch Club Ladies interested in art and craft will be held on

Monday 4thMarch at 10:30 am in 

Reans 

at a members house to discover what crafts and hobbies our Ladies Lunch  Club members are currently involved with.

This is to discover who is prepared to exhibit, promote and offer for sale if wished their crafts currently being produced. 
There are many talented and skilled ladies within our group who already produce wonderful craft work, amongst which are jewellery, cards, patchwork and tie work. 

We hope to discover many more who will be prepared not only to show or sell their work but to pass on some of their techniques, knowledge and expertise. 

There are those ladies within LLC interested and keen to acquire new skills and it only requires a willingness on the part of the craftswoman to share their knowledge.

A planned exhibition/sale is to be arranged in the autumn, in October/November 2013, and the date and venue will follow shortly.
